Lou Everett, Sr. was born in a small New England city, Middletown, Connecticut, on the beautiful Connecticut River. Lou comes from a very humble background. His Father was a factory worker for over 40 years, before he retired. "Dad always would say, 'Lou, don't ever give up on your dreams!', Lou relates. "And, am I glad I listened to him on that one!"

Doreen Everett comes form a little more of an upscale background, seeing that her Father was the first Chief of Police in a beautiful town called Cheshire, Connecticut. Yes, the poor boy from the "other" side of the tracks meets a beautiful young woman from the "good" side of the tracks and falls head over heals in love.

Lou credits some of his success to paying attention to his Father's advice on never giving up on your dreams. He credits some of his success on his own determination and tenacity. However, he credits most of his success to the support he has gotten, over the last 32 years, from his lovely wife Doreen.

Lou expresses himself this way: "You know, Doreen is a blessing from God! I never would have made it this far, if it weren't for her. She has been an inspiration that has given me focus and purpose in my life. She has given me three beautiful children and all the support and encouragement a man could ever ask for. I am truly blessed."
