“The Entrepreneur's Prayer”

Angels Mine,

I feel myself moving very slow, dragging my feet.

I’m nervous that success will overwhelm me and my children.

Would you please come wrap your wings around us? Guide us, protect us, bless us, and love us. Make me feel safe so that I will speed up the pace.

I’m letting fear rob me of my motivation. What if I really don’t know what I’m doing? What if I make a fool of myself? What if I never make a dime? What if I fail?

Please make your presence known. I don’t want to guess or play at metaphors. Speak to me openly and with a clarity that cannot be denied.

When I’m lost, don’t carry me, just point the way.

When I have to make important decisions, speak up and tell me your opinion.

When I’m doing the right thing, smile on me.

Hold me to my highest good.

Show me signs that I’m quite capable of accomplishing this task within the amount of time given. I don’t ask for you to make it easy for me or to do it all for me. Rather, just shine a light on my own cleverness and adventuresome spirit.

Be my cheerleader, not my enabler.

Don’t let me play small.

Don’t save me, just show me the vision again when I am ready to give up and quit.

Dangle that carrot in front of me, but don’t just hand it to me.

Help to remind me when I’m juggling too many things, that it is my bliss to do this work. Remind me of all the reasons why I love it so much.

Don’t ever let me take it for granted nor forget what lead me to accept this challenge.
I am me and this is what I do.

It's not just in some of us, it's in everyone, and as we let our light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.

“Are You Thinking The ‘Right’ Thoughts?”

“A person is limited only by the thoughts that he chooses.”

With all the negativity in the world and the in air all around us, we really need to focus on positive things.

We need to bombard our spirit with positive aspirations and motivational tapes and CDs. There are many good motivational and inspirational speakers, out there, with a lot of listening material that can really assist you in bombarding your spirit. There are also many good motivational type books out there, as well.

Remember: You are only limited by the thoughts YOU choose!

Here is what happened to me, not to long ago.

As most of you know, I have been in the Network Marketing Profession for a long, long, time. And, I know from experience that I need to bombard my spirit with positive input, in order to keep the negativity OUT! Yet, I allowed myself to become lackadaisical in this area. It happens! I don’t care how long you’ve been in the Industry.

Not too long ago, I came to the realization that negativity was really creeping into my psyche. I realized that I had to do something about it, and I had to do it FAST.

So, I set out to read a book that I had read many times over the years. The book that really got me started in a positive direction when I was a very young man. This book has helped thousands put their life on a positive track to success.

The book that I am talking about is “Think and Grow Rich” by Napoleon Hill. If you haven’t read it, I recommend that you get hold of it and read it…..cover to cover! And, do it just as soon as you can! If you’ve read it in the past…..dig it out…..blow the dust off of it and read it again!

To go along with the book, it would be wise to go out and purchase some motivational/inspirational tapes and/or CDs. If you would like a list of my favorite motivational speakers, please send me an e-mail with the word “speakers” in the subject. I will get it out to you right away!

Anyway…..I got to Chapter IV, in the book, the chapter entitled: “AUTOSUGGESTION.” That’s when I said to myself, “Whoa! Lou! Hello - Knock Knock - Hello! --- DUH!

You see…..I had really slacked off in this area of my success. So, I immediately started to re-bombard my spirit with positive input. Tapes, CDs, cassette tapes, books! Whatever I could get my hands on!

I am here to tell you that it has had an amazing affect on me. It brought me back to being positive and laser focused on my “Why!” And, it is INCREDIBLE how this bombardment has moved me to take MASSIVE ACTION on my way to achieving my “WHY!” It’s FANTASTIC! It’s the ONLY way!

So ask yourself the question:

“Do You Welcome, Follow-Up,
& Train New Members?”

It never ceases to amaze me how so many people in Network Marketing never hear from their sponsor/enroller once they are enrolled. It’s sad! It’s a SIN, is what it is!

For you to be successful you must realize that enrolling someone in your Network Marketing business is just the beginning. A "Follow-Up Program" and a "Training Program" is absolutely essential if you want to keep your team members.

Support is very, very important to your success. If you can’t support and train your team, or at least “get” them trained, then you might as well pack it in and forget about Network Marketing. It is your responsibility to support and train them! No one else’s!

The first thing you should do is send them a “Welcome” letter/e-mail, welcoming them to your company and to your team. Detail for them who their upline leaders are. Include their e-mail addresses and phone numbers. Be sure they realize that you are the first point of contact in their upline.

Provide further details as to where and how they can get plugged-in to all your team activities. Things like Team Meetings, Training Sessions, Super Saturdays, Regional Meetings, Conventions, and other events, are all beneficial for them to attend.

It’s always best to stay in contact with your downline team at least once per week, if not more often. More often is always better. Keep them up to date on what is happening with your team and the company. Once your team starts growing, or if it is already a pretty good size, start a newsletter and/or weekly team meetings, or even a blog. These things are essential in building a stable team and a very strong organization.

Don’t be afraid to work with your team members one on one. Teach them how to prospect. Do it with them! Teach them how to enroll people. Do it with them! Teach them how to support their team members. Do it with them! Teach them by your example!

If need be, ask your immediate upline leader for assistance. If they can’t assist you, keep going up until you find a leader that will. I can pretty much guarantee that one of your upline leaders will be glad to assist you. When they do assist you, learn from them. Then, with you as their leader, start implementing a process for your team members to follow.

These are necessary things you need to do with each and every one of your team members. In supporting and training them, you will show them how to duplicate your efforts, or the efforts of your successful upline. In turn, they will have success. Their teams will grow, which will cause momentum throughout your entire team, and in turn, your organization will EXPLODE, and so will your Commission Checks!

“EXPLODE Your Network Marketing Team
Into An INCREDIBLE Recruiting Machine!”

Let’s face it! Most people who join a Network Marketing Company assume that their “A” number one function is to Prospect! Prospect! Prospect! – Enroll! Enroll! Enroll! So, they spend much of their time, money, and effort prospecting and enrolling, never realizing that these new people will need training, especially if they have never marketed before.

Of course, enrolling new people is SUPER important. But, I am here to tell you; there is more that you need to do, in order to succeed! What’s just as important, as Prospecting and Enrolling, is what you do with those new people, once they are enrolled and part of your team.

Think about it! What good is a whole bunch of new people that are doing absolutely nothing? That certainly wouldn’t help your business any! Would it!?! But, what would happen if you worked with those people and trained them to duplicate your efforts? Whoa! You would be motivating them to cause an EXPLOSION in your organization!

Further, if you let them just sit there and do nothing, and you never communicate with them, they definitely won’t make any money. What will be the result? They will drop out, and you will be forever prospecting and enrolling, instead of seeing your organization “EXPLODE into an INCREDIBLE Recruiting Machine!”

So, you must teach your people to DUPLICATE your efforts. When you do that, everyone in your group will do a little, causing a whole lot to be accomplished, throughout your organization. This benefits the whole team, and is a whole lot better than if only one person does all the work.

Just think…..If you had…..say…..10 good people and you taught them to duplicate your efforts. What would be the result? Your business would grow exponentially!…..And, what if you had 20 good people? * Think about that! * This is a very POWERFUL, POWERFUL way to build a business. The results will be *HUGE* Commissions Checks!

So, please don’t enroll people and then ignore them. If you ignore them they will not stay with you. They will be gone within a couple of months. Instead, do everything in your power to ensure your team members succeed. This is the best way to build that AWESOME “Residual Income” that we all desire.

What is really AWESOME, though, is that this is a GREAT time to be alive and working our Network Marketing businesses. Why? --- Because of modern technology! Today, anyone can have their own website, their own Internet Voice Room for presentations and meetings, and the simplest form of communication on the net…..E-Mail.

Even the telephone companies, nowadays, have GREAT Flat Rate Long Distance packages which make it affordable for just about anyone to call as much long distance as they wish.

So, take advantage of all the fine tools that we have. Don’t ignore your team members. Communicate with them! Work with them! Train them! Encourage them! If you do, you will “EXPLODE Your Network Marketing Team Into An INCREDIBLE Recruiting Machine!”

Until you know WHY…
The How doesn't matter!

Your telephone rings, you say hello and the voice on the other end of the line asks, "What is the specific, number one reason you are building your Network Marketing business?" Could you answer immediately or would you have to think about it awhile?

Strong organizations are built by leaders with strong reasons. When you wake up every morning you are thinking about one of two things: your reasons or the work. The work -- phone calls, retail appointments, follow-up letters, 3-way calls, etc -- won't turn you on and provide you with the motivation needed to do your business.

Your REASONS focused upon WILL!

Stop for a minute and think about some of the successful leaders in your company. What were their reasons for getting involved with your company? Over the past 12 years I have heard hundreds and hundreds of stories about people near bankruptcy, high medical bills, terrible jobs, unemployment, and many other strong REASONS that motivated them to develop their Network Marketing Business.

You can sit in training meetings every week, attend Super Saturday Training's for the next five years and attend every company convention, but: UNTIL YOU KNOW WHY, THE HOW DOESN'T MATTER. You have up line leadership that can teach you HOW to do the business, but they can't provide you the REASONS for doing it. Your reasons are personal and must come from within.

One of the first steps we do with every distributor who sponsors into our company is to have them complete a "20 Reason's Sheet".

After they complete it, they make a copy and give it to their upline leader. We want to know exactly why our people are doing the business, but more importantly, we want them to know why.

This is an excellent management tool that I highly recommend that you consider using. People do things for their reasons, not ours. Their 20 Reason's Sheet becomes my carrot or in some cases, my stick. When I am around my new associate, I talk about their reasons for doing the business, not mine.

Once they know why, they are well on their way to learning "how." Until next time, make sure you are prepared if the phone rings and the voice on the other end asks, "Why?"

When things go wrong as they sometimes will,

"ONENESS!"

A few years ago, at the Seattle Special Olympics, nine contestants, all physically or mentally disabled, assembled at the starting line for the 100-yard dash. At the gun, they all started out, not exactly in a dash, but with a relish to run the race to the finish and win.

All, that is, except one little boy who stumbled on the asphalt, tumbled over a couple of times, and began to cry.

The other eight heard the boy cry. They slowed down and looked back. Then they all turned around and went back. Every one of them.

One girl with Down’s Syndrome bent down and kissed him and said, "This will make it better." Then all nine linked arms and walked together to the finish line.

Everyone in the stadium stood and the cheering went on for several minutes. People who were there are still telling the story.

Why?

Because deep down we know this one thing:

What matters in this life is more than winning for ourselves. What matters in this life is helping others win, even if it means slowing down and changing our course.

"LESSONS FROM GEESE!"

FACT: As each goose flaps its wings it creates an "uplift" for the birds that follows. By flying in a V formation, the whole flock adds 71% greater flying range than if each bird flew alone.

"People who share a common direction and sense a community can get where they are going quicker and easier because they are travelling on the thrust of one another."

FACT: When a goose falls out of formation, it suddenly feels the drag and resistance of flying alone. It quickly moves back into formation to take advantage of the lifting power of the bird in front of it.

"If we have as much sense as a goose we stay in formation with those headed where we want to go. We are willing to accept their help and give our help to others."

FACT: When the lead goose tires, it rotates back into the formation and another goose flies to the point position.

"It pays to take turns doing the hard tasks and sharing leadership. As with geese, people are interdependent on each others skills, capabilities and unique arrangements of gifts, talents or resources."

FACT: The geese flying in formation honk to encourage those up front to keep up their speed.

"We need to make sure our honking is encouraging. In groups where there is encouragement, the production is much greater. The power of encouragement is the quality of honking we seek."

FACT: When a goose gets sick, wounded or shot down, two geese drop out of formation and follow it down to help and protect it. They stay with it until it dies or is able to fly again. Then they launch out with another formation or catch up with the flock.

"THE COMFORT ZONE!"

I used to have a comfort zone where I knew I wouldn’t fail.
The same four walls and busywork were really more like jail.
I longed so much to do the things I’d never done before,
But stayed inside my comfort zone and paced the same old floor.

I said it didn‘t matter that I wasn’t doing much.
I said I didn’t care for things like commission checks and such.
I claimed to be so busy with the things inside the zone,
But deep inside I longed for something special of my own.

I couldn’t let my life go by just watching others win.
I held my breath; I stepped outside and let the change begin.
I took a step and with new strength I’d never felt before,
I kissed my comfort zone goodbye and closed and locked the door.

If you’re in a comfort zone, afraid to venture out,
Remember that all winners were at one time filled with doubt.
A step or two and words of praise can make your dreams come true.
Reach for your future with a smile; Success is there for you!

“Network Marketing!” Have You Made The Choice?

Wouldn’t it be GREAT not to have a boss that sets your priorities and decides your every move?

Wouldn’t it be GREAT to have the security that a Network Marketing type business provides? --- No layoffs --- No downsizing --- No loss of 401Ks and other pensions.

Wouldn’t it be GREAT to have the flexibility that a Home-Based Business can provide? You can get away from that 9-5 enslavement and work when you want, how you want, and with whom you want.

Wouldn’t it be GREAT not to commute everyday, wasting all that time and money, just so you can go to your JOB (Just Over Broke) to make someone else rich?

Wouldn’t it be GREAT to be able to take those extra tax deductions that only a Home-Based Business allows? You would be amazed at all the different tax deductions you can take, when you are working from home. Just from those deductions alone, you could put a real nice part-time income in your pocket, and smile all the way to the bank.

Wouldn’t it be GREAT to have less stress in your life? A Network Marketing business can do just that. You have full control over everything, and this makes for a very desirable work environment --- one that YOU design…..not someone else. It’s AWESOME!

"EVEN EAGLES NEED A PUSH!"

The EAGLE gently coaxed her offspring toward the edge of the nest. Her heart quivered with conflicting emotions as she felt their resistance to her persistent nudging.

"Why does the thrill of soaring have to begin with the fear of falling?" She thought. This ageless question was still unanswered for her.

As in the tradition of the species, her nest was located on the shelf of a sheer rock face. Below there was nothing but air to support the wings of each child. "It is possible that this time it will not work!" she thought. Despite her fear, the eagle knew it was time. Her parental mission was all but complete. There remained one final task - the PUSH.

The EAGLE drew courage from an innate wisdom. Until her children discovered their wings, there was no purpose in their lives.

"Until they learned how to SOAR they would fail to understand the privilege it was to have been born an EAGLE."

The PUSH was the greatest gift she had to offer. It was her SUPREME ACT OF LOVE. So one by one she pushed them, and THEY FLEW!!

Like the EAGLE, we don't know where the push will send us, but without it we wouldn't have the opportunity to grow and SOAR.

“The POWER Behind Network Marketing!”

Network Marketing is the most POWERFUL business model on the face of this planet! What’s really interesting is that it is built primarily by “’Word of Mouth’ Advertising.” Is that AWESOME, or what!?!

“’Word of Mouth’Advertising,” in and of itself, is very POWERFUL. It’s the oldest, and most successful form of advertising available. And, with the advent of the Internet --- WOW! We have had an EXPLOSION in the Network Marketing arena!

However, this EXPLOSION has risen to all kinds of marketing online. Nowadays, it is the “sell” anything that isn’t nailed down syndrome! It’s wild and out of control! Isn’t that true!?! But, what’s even more amazing is the direction that is given by some of these so called “Internet Marketing Gurus.” They say: “It don’t matter what it is. Put it out on the Web. It’ll sell.” YAH! RIGHT! Talk about "NO CLASS!" Geeeze!

What these “gurus” forget about is the most important ingredient: PEOPLE! Products don’t sell themselves. PEOPLE DO! Customers don’t gather themselves. YOU DO! Opportunities don’t motivate people to look at them. YOU DO! And, when you are really passionate and you truly believe in your opportunity, people will feel it and be motivated to look at what you have going on. It’s incredible!

But, let’s face it! Even with the POWER of the Internet, we have to work at it! Isn’t that true!?! But, with that POWER, you can achieve some AWESOME results! Just remember to go at it with a passionate, burning desire to succeed.

So don’t be like those so called “marketing gurus” and go after anything that’s out there. Get with a company that has products you can be really passionate about. Get with a company that is making a positive difference in peoples lives. A company you can get really passionate about.

That’s where your motivation will come from. That’s what will keep you focused on your goals and achieving your “Why.” Your passion and your burning desire to succeed will move you into massive action, and you WILL succeed.

POWERFUL?? You better believe it’s powerful! Network Marketing brings out the POWER in people. Here’s what happens: Your passionate burning desire to succeed, and your strong belief in what you are doing, causes you to become a human magnet, and people are drawn to you and your offer. Why? Because your passion speaks to their emotions and a connection is made. POWERFUL, indeed!

So, follow what you can truly believe in. Follow something you can really get passionate about, and then share that passion and excitement with others. It’ll spread like wildfire! That’s true networking. That’s “The POWER Behind Network Marketing!”

Network Marketing! What’s It All About?!?

Every day millions of employees go to their place of employment for their employers to use their time and effort to build a business --- a financial future, without any “REAL” consideration for their employees future!

In Network Marketing, however, we do things much different. While all of us continue to gather customers, we also assist each other in building a business and a GREAT future. This is the true meaning of the words “Network Marketing.” We network with people, assist each other, and get paid for work that is done one time! It’s AWESOME!

In the JOB (Just Over Broke) world, your employer leverages YOUR time. But, in Network Marketing, YOU leverage your own time and the time of others! Your employer has tons of overhead to deal with. In Network Marketing, you really don’t have that.

Employees are the biggest liability an employer has. In Network Marketing we have business partners all working with our T.E.A.M. (Together Everyone Achieves More). We don’t have all the issues a commercial type company has. We have our initial start-up fee, which typically runs anywhere from a little under 100 dollars to a little under 500 dollars. There are others that have a higher start-up fee, but they are few and far between.

One of the biggest reasons people fall short in this Industry is because, for some reason, they feel that a marketing budget is unnecessary. They don’t advertise, prospect, or seek out the knowledge and support they need in order to be successful. They don’t treat their Network Marketing business as a REAL business. This is a BAD mistake!

You must remember that you own a REAL business! You don’t have a boss to answer to because YOU are the boss. Your success or failure is completely OWNED by YOU! No one else!

So, you need to get down to it and go to work gathering customers! Some of those customers will want to be business builders. So, you will need to assist them in getting started, and then continually coach them to success. Two to five years of continuous effort should bring you GREAT success.

You will need to put in 5 – 20 hours per week in building your business and assisting others to do the same. You will also need to have a Marketing Budget. It can be a small budget, starting out. But, you will need one.

REMEMBER: You own a REAL business! It’s YOUR business! So treat it as such! It’s not a “get rich quick” scheme, or anything like that! It is a REAL business!

Our Industry is primarily built on “word of mouth” advertising. This has always been the most effective way to advertise. You go to a movie. You tell others about it. They go. They tell others. And, it continues. It is the same when you find a store that you like. You tell others about it. They, in turn, tell others. And, it continues on. The word spreads. This is the most powerful form of advertising there is.

Isn’t that what we do as Network Marketers? We are part of a company with great products with a business attached to it, and we share what we have with others. The difference between us and the commercial market is that we get paid for our “word of mouth” advertising. It’s AWESOME!

Most people we talk to will tell us, “But, I don’t want to sell anything.” I felt the same way, when I first got started over 40 years ago, and I still do. Who of us likes an over zealous salesperson putting pressure on us to buy something? None of us do! I’m sure that our prospects feel the same way.

This is where Network Marketing is different. We don’t “sell” anything. Isn’t that true!?! We only recommend our products and services. Ones that we love and use ourselves. The rest is up to the prospective customer.

So, “Network Marketing! What’s It All About!?!” ---- It’s about “networking” with people, sharing your products, services, and business opportunity with them, and then coaching and mentoring them to success. Plus – It’s a blast!

Finding Your "WHY!"

“Finding these three letters: W - H - Y will guarantee you ultimate success in your life, and in Network Marketing!"

For millions of average Americans, Network Marketing continues to be the best vehicle in building a lucrative business in a short period of time. Two to five years of continuous effort will bring AWESOME results.

Yet when we look at the statitistics, out of an estimated 200,000 Americans joining a Network Marketing company each and every month, approximately 85% of them quit within 90 days from starting their Home-Bases Business.

Why does that happen?

Is the Network Marketing Industry at fault, or is our focus aimed in the wrong direction? How do you maintain your motivation when the first few weeks or months don't bring the success you wanted?

I am here to tell you that it's our focus that is at fault. Our focus must be on the following questions:

1. "Why" am I doing this business?
2. "Why" did I get started in the first place?
3. What was the motivating force that fired me up from the get go?
4. What is my ultimate "success-reason" (or my "Why") for doing this?

Everyone in this industry has had some powerful motivating force that fired them up in the beginning. This is the force that caused them to visualize the power of their opportunity. This force, or reasons, are what is called your "Why." Your "Why" is what you must focus on daily, in order to achieve your ultimate "success-reason" --- your "Why."

The following steps will assist all Network Marketers in getting "Fired-Up," so they can find and achieve their "Why."

Commit It To Paper!

Go over your reasons in your mind. I mean, really dig deep down inside. Then, write down all the reasons "Why" you started your business in the first place. Were you looking to spend more time with your family? Were you wanting to assist others? Did you want to become financially independent?

You must be absolutely clear as to what inspired you to go into business for yourself, and then write it down.

Read It (Your "Why") Aloud Every Day!

Read your "Why" (your success-reasons) out loud every day. Once in the morning when you wake up and once in the evening before going to sleep. This acivity will assist you in sinking your "Why" down deep into your heart and mind. You could even rewrite your "Why" every morning. This will really keep you focused, and keep your mind open for opportunities throughout the day. It is unblievable what this can do for your daily motivation. It will move you to action.

Share Your "Why" With Others

Sharing your "Why" with others will put your convictions into overdrive! It will drive you into taking massive action, and will super-charge others along the way.

Always remember that Network Marketing, just like any other business, has its ups and its downs. Talk to any successful marketer and they will all tell you, "Yes! That's the way it is."

So, it's an absolute necessity to continually focus on your "Why." If you do, you will continue to take super-charged massive action in building a huge Network Marketing business. That business will be the vehicle in which you travel to the ultimate achievement of your "Why."

"Find 'Real' Success In Network Marketing!"

Why is it that some people have GREAT success in Network Marketing while others struggle? Do the so called "Network Marketing Gurus" have some "secret" they are not sharing? Do these successful people have some "special gift," or something that no one else has?

Well, Folks, the answer to these questions is an absolute "No!" No "secret!" No "special gifts!"

When you first got started in Network Marketing you were told to set goals and to be active in personal development (Motivational Books, CD's, Motivational Seminars, etc.), as well as company events, presentations, and meetings. You were also told that it was best to be a good student of the industry and learn all you can.

While all these things are necessary, and thousands do them, most never seem to get their business off the ground.

WHY?

Well..........I would like to ask you a couple of questions:

1. Are you coachable? I mean really coachable.....not just sometimes coachable!
2. Are all the Network Marketing tools and information you could ever need and want available to you 24/7?

I know for a fact that you can answer both those questions with an absolute "Yes!"

Now..........We are all intelligent beings! Isn't that true!?! And, I am sure you are very capable of doing all the Network Marketing tasks set before you. So, if that's the case, then what the "Hey" does it take to get it all dialed in so that it works to your advantage!?!

In his book, "Think & Grow Rich," Napolean Hill writes about "DESIRE" being the starting point of all achievement, and even being the first step toward riches. Mr. Hill goes on to say, a burning desire to be and to do is the starting point from which the dreamer must take off."

I am sure you have heard that it's not the "How," but the "Why" that really matters in Network Marketing. But, most don't focus on their "Why" with the real intensity that it needs! And, most have never really been told about the "Why," so they don't really know how to discover it, massage it, and then ultimately manifest it.

It all starts with "DESIRE." "Deep seated" desire. --- Deep seated in your heart and mind. This kind of desire is that "thing," or ultimate destination, that you want with such intensity that you are willing to do anything for it, no matter how frightening, difficult, or expensive it is.

Yes! It is that deep seated "DESIRE" that gets you past anything that stands in the way of achieving your "Why." --- Your ultimate desire --- That "thing" that ensures your success.

See..........If you can determine what your "Why" really is and write it down, and then read it aloud daily, once before retiring and once upon arising, you will eventually achieve your "Why" and Find 'REAL'" Success In Network Marketing." You need to bombard your spirit with nothing but positive affirmations.

I would now like to share with you my "Why."

"My 'Why' is to have financial freedom by March 19th, 2010. I see myself spending "super" quality time with my wife, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. I see my family duplicating my success and empowering others to do the same. I see myself coaching and mentoring thousands in reaching their goals and desires. And, becuase of my financial freedom I see myself and my family reaching out to those in need - children - families - communities. I see myself and my family giving back, and making a real positive impact on peoples lives. I am achieving my "Why!" And, it's AWESOME! I am flying like an eagle!"

Please remember that it is that "Deep Seated 'Burning DESIRE'" that is the starting point of all achievement. It is that "Deep Seated 'Burning DESIRE'" that will assist you in achieving your "Why." It is that "Deep Seated 'Burning DESIRE'" that will assist you to "Find 'REAL' Success In Network Marketing!"

"Straight From The Heart Of One Of Our Readers & A GREAT Friend!"

Just a note to say hello and to wish you all a "Happy Fourth of July!!"

I don't know if we take enough time through the course of each year to be thankful for this wonderful country we live in, for the freedom to worship in the way we choose, the freedom to succeed or to fail at whatever we want.

Have we taken the time to thank all the veterans who have served this country to keep us all safe?

On one particular day while at the Veteran's Administration hospital with my husband, I know there were over a 100 veterans there waiting to have a prescription filled. In my quiet observation of them it was as though a wave of electrostatic air crossed over the room and I could imagine all of them young and in their full capacities...invincible...handsome or beautiful...full of life and energy, the way they would have looked years ago when they fought in our other wars. My heart went out to each of them as I knew first hand looking at my own husband who was waiting for his own prescription, how handsome and strong he was 42 years ago. Each loved one in my family is a veteran, from my husband to our two daughters. Our son and grandson who are serving now. I am very proud of them all.

I urge you to take a quiet moment while celebrating this Independence Day and reflect on the events which lead up to our Independence and blessings your God has given you.

"Holiday Weekend - What It's Good for in Network Marketing!"

Here it is Saturday morning, July 2nd, 2005. WOW! Where is the year going!?! WHEW!

The 4th of July weekend. A weekend for celebration for millons. And, rightly so! But, what else is it good for? How can we, as Network Marketers, benefit from this holiday weekend.

Well......Think about it. People are home with their families. Most have a long weekend so Monday, the 4th, is a day off also. So, people are in a relaxed mood, this weekend. So, what can we do, that most Network Marketers aren't doing this weekend?

You see, this weekend most Network Marketers are taking the days off, too! But, the smart avid marketer will take advantage of at least Saturday & Sunday.

CALL PEOPLE! PROSPECT! PROSPECT! PROSPECT!

Invite people to your next presentation. Tell them how AWESOME your Opportunity is!

Comeon!! Let's GO! GO! GO!

Take advantage of the holiday weekend! Your Prospecting Pipeline will EXPLODE! You will be amazed at what can happen on a holiday weekend.

"Empower Yourself & Your Prospects To Success With Great Follow-Ups!"

Do you feel as though you give up on some prospects too soon? If so, you are most likely correct. Don't give up on someone too soon! It could be costing you, not only dollars, but it could be costing you your credibility with your prospects, as well! Ouch!

Folks, you really need to have a very strong belief in your products, compensation plan, and the company you are promoting. If your belief is strong enough, your strength will be so compelling that people will be chasing you to have what you have. If they are ones that you have been building rapport with for awhile, they are probably very impressed with what you have presented and discussed with them.

However, life gets in the way and it may seem as though they are "copping out" on you --- missing their appointments with you --- not making a presentation --- not returning your calls. And, for whatever reason, you automatically assume that they are "copping out," and are no longer interested. Folks, this assumption is "WRONG," too many times!

To often, we give up on someone too soon. I know it's a judgment call, and you have to go with your "gut!" But, you have to LISTEN for where your prospect is coming from. Hear their questions! Hear their expressions! Hear their heart!

Surely, when you have a prospect who had been previously "Fired Up", and he/she now seems to be "copping out", but you're really not, you need to continue with all your communication efforts, in trying to reach your prospect. Drop them an e-mail. Call them on the phone. Ask them if there is something preventing them from making the presentation. Ask them if they are still interested. Surely, you don't want to waste your time with someone who isn't interested and could care less about your offer! So, if the individual "hees and haws" then ask your prospect: "Should I close your file, then?" No one likes to have their file closed. Who knows! Maybe it is just the timing. Maybe the finances aren't right. It could be anything.

But, if they are acting and talking in a positive way, then say: "GREAT! Can I reschedule you, one more time, for the presentation?" Here, you've put all your pencils on the table. In a nice kind way you have let your prospect know that they have one last opportunity to make the presentation. If they "hee & haw" here, then the timing just isn't right for them. It could be anything in their life that is standing in their way. If it is something you can assist them with, go for it! Then try to get them involved as soon as possible. If not, ask this:

"Would it be alright if I got back with you within the next 60 - 90 days? Most will say "Yes!" to this. Most people are looking for a reason to say "yes" to you, anyway. You have now kept your prospect in your "Prospecting pipeline" for future follow-ups.

Communication is the key here, Folks, to empowering you as well as your prospect. And, it takes some effort and alot of patience. Just remember to be honest, sincere, direct, and open......and above all......LISTEN! If you LISTEN, and you HEAR, you will know exactly what to do with your prospect.
